Michael jackson was born in gary indiana on august 29,1958 he is the 7th of 9 children,michael said growing up was painful for them as their father joseph was very strict,they formed a band that they call the jackson 5 and joseph sometimes sit on a chair with his belt in hand while the boys were rehersing and if they made too much mistakes they would get a beating.

Michael later leave the group and went on his own,he achived record breaking record sales worldwide,albums like,off the wall(1979),thriller(1982),bad(1987),dangerous(1991),history(1995).

michael jackson was acused of child sexual molestation in 1993,the criminal investigation was closed due to lack of evidence,however in 2005 he was tried and acquitted of further sexual abuse charges.

michael co wrote(we are the world)with lionel richie the single was released around the world to help the poor in the united states and in africa,the single became one of the best selling singles of all times,selling more than 20 million copies.
